Moving Around
Hello, everybody! There is a family from Bethel Baptist Church who has offered for us to stay in their home for a while. So far, we have been in their house for about 12 days. We each get our own double beds. They have woods in their back yard, and there is a stream near there. Me and Brendin and a friend built a bridge across the stream. But in the process, somehow I was the one who had to cross without the bridge. It was still fun!! For Christmas, we got lots of toys, and had lots of fun. I haven't been able to blog in a while, because there is not much internet here. Well, I will have more to say later. Hasta la vista!

How're ya'll doin'? That is southern talk for: How are you doing? Well, anyway, I am having a great time so far. On Sunday, we went to Hillside Baptist Church for our 3rd meeting. Then we travelled to Elkhart, Indiana. We stayed at the Comfort Suites, where we swam for about 2 1/2 hours on Tuesday night, and about 3 hours this morning. The Big Hoorah (Bro. Arnold), was in town and visited us at the motel while we swam. I said I would give him $5 if he jumped in the deep end of the pool. It was almost time for one of his meetings, but he said that he would do it for $100. We agreed to give it to him, but he wanted us to pay up at that very moment. So, sadly, we didn't get to see him soaked. So here I am now blogging. The end. See ya'll.

Vacation at Last
Hello, and welcome to my blog! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I am just so lazy. We are now at our grandma and grandpa's house in Texas. Travelling took forever, especially when I had to go the bathroom every 10 minutes. I guess I shouldn't have drank so much pop!! We stopped at Hillside Baptist Church and stayed with the Tolberts. The next day we left at about 7:45 a.m. That day was the longest drive in 3 days. And the longest drive just had to be in Oklahoma!! It was 9 hours of cornfields and 3 hours of cotton fields. All in all, it was a fun drive. Anyway, when we first arrived, we said our hellos and ate tacos and got settled in. The first night, Brendin and I slept on the couch. The next night, we slept in a bed. It was a long night, because I had so many jokes to tell. But then I just got punched by Brendin who wanted to go to sleep!! And when I finally agreed to stop talking, I would laugh over nothing. And get punched again. It seemed to be more funny than painful, because I would hear, "AUSTIN !!!!!". We visited at Tabernacle Baptist Church, and there was a missionary to Minnesota. Get this, his name was Austin. Maybe God just thinks that Austins are just right for the job of missionaries. We have now been here for 5 days. I forgot to tell you about the pool. I had fun sitting on Brendin's back and looking much taller than everyone else. Until he threw me backwards. We had races across the pool, contests of holding our breath the longest, and then we got out. We also got the swim the next morning. So far, it has been a great vacation!

THANKSGIVING!
Tis the season to be thankful ! Well then again I guess every season is the season to be thankful. On thanksgiving we went to our Nana's house . Our uncle and our aunt were there, our cousins were there, and no turkey dinner. But that is fine because on Saturday we invited some of the people who had no place to go to our house for a turkey dinner. But that is another story. We got to go in the field and help our great uncle harvest the crops! And ride on the backhoe . All in all it was a great thanksgiving.
Yours truly,
Austin
The Blue Jay Games
These are some pictures I took from the Blue Jays ball game from Friday night. My dad had promised Brendin a ball game this year, and this was the last time his favourite pitcher would be pitching in Toronto. So my dad took us Friday night. A man from our church had been wanting to take the teens and our family to a game all year. So we went Saturday afternoon, too. But Emily, Mom, and Bethany didn't go because of Emily's birthday party. Friday was her birthday, but her friends came over on Saturday for a party. That included our neighbour and our cousin.
Well, bye for now!
Yours truly,
Austin

Champions!
This is a team picture taken after we won the championship this afternoon. We had last bats and we were down two runs. One of our teammates (Michael) tied the game with a two run double and then I drove him home and we won the championship.

MY FIRST DAY OF GRADE 4
Yesterday was my first day of grade 4. It was my brother and sisters' second day of school. Because I was too sick the first day of school, I had to stay in bed all day and sleep. We are homeschooled, and our mom is our teacher. It beats 3rd grade work any day on account of I don't have to do tablet anymore. This teacher sure assigns a lot of homework, but that is just because the curriculum tells her to. She just doesn't get that she doesn't HAVE to. I am surprised she is letting me talk like this, because she is the one typing. Now, pretty much, our whole family is sick, so it is pretty hard to do too much of school. Being homeschooled is I think a lot easier than going to public school. I am just guessing, because we don't have to walk to school or take a bus. We can practically have a break anytime we want, except for when Mom is teaching us. One of the subjects we have to take this year in school is French, because the Togolese people speak french. So I better go now,
Au revoir,

Back From Camp YES!!!

Pastor Dave Hansen
I just got back from Camp YES about an hour ago. We played lots of games, the councilors played jokes on us, we had Pastor Dave Hansen as our speaker, and the Enoch family as our camp missionaries. They were from Kenya. They told us some stories about a missionary boy in Africa, his name was Steven. I also got a Christian Character award and Pastor McClain, the director of the camp, would read letters from parents, and some were embarrasing. The preaching was really good.

Camp Y.E.S.
Hello everyone! Today I am writing about Camp Yes. Camp Y.E.S. is a Christian camp that I will be going to attend. I am very excited about it! Some of my friends from our church will be there. This will be my 3rd year to attend. It is a long drive from our house, but it is worth it! Thank you Pastor and Mrs. McClain for providing a Christian camp for us! There are so many fun activites to do there, that I wish I could go my whole life!!
